Challenge
A brownfield chrome recovery opportunity had to be made viable within strict constraints on capital expenditure, on-site construction time and plant footprint. All three had to be met simultaneously.

A 60kt per month spiral chrome recovery plant was designed, built and commissioned within budget and on schedule. A previously uneconomical opportunity was made viable through an innovative engineering approach rather than additional capital.
