MET63 took a patented chlorination technology from detailed design through to a working skid-based demonstration plant over a three-year programme.

Challenge
A patented chlorination technology for converting iron-bearing ore into high-value products needed to be proven at demonstration scale. The client required a plant that could validate the process under real operating conditions before any decision on commercial scale.

Outcome
A skid-based, modular demonstration plant taken from detailed design through to construction over a three-year programme, giving the client a working facility to prove the technology beyond the laboratory.
