Adele O’Callaghan
Adele O’Callaghan, a Metallurgist/Process Engineer, currently serves as the Managing Director at Met63 (PTY) Ltd. Over the course of her 28-year career, Adele has acquired a wealth of experience in operational management, project development, business development, and general business management. Her career has included working for mining majors, global EPCM firms, and outsourced operations businesses in various parts of the world.
Arnold Swarts
Arnold Swarts, an accomplished metallurgical engineer with an M.Eng in Metallurgy, serves as the Managing Director at Met63 (PTY) Ltd. With over 23 years of experience in the metallurgical industry, Arnold has developed a strong background in technical, design, operational, and management roles. He has worked with a diverse range of minerals and metals, including base metals, coal, chrome ore, gold, platinum, vanadium, manganese, tin, tantalum, iron ore, and niobium.
Arnold has extensive expertise in ore processing and hydrometallurgical processing, with a focus on nickel hydrometallurgy, including Resin-in-Pulp, Activox®, and copper leaching technologies, which he has devoted over 15 years of his career to. He is a strategic thinker, capable of project development and implementation of appropriate technologies.
Jaco Du Toit
Jaco du Toit is a highly skilled process engineer with over 20 years of experience in the metallurgical industry. With a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering, he has extensive knowledge and expertise in various aspects of the chemical and extractive metallurgy field, including hydro and pyrometallurgy, minerals processing, and process engineering. He has a comprehensive technical understanding across the entire technical value chain, from academic and commercial R&D to plant production and engineering design, including commissioning.
Jaco is a professional registered engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa, specialising in hydrometallurgy, with a focus on base metals, potash, gold, uranium processing, and sulfuric acid production. He has a strategic and futuristic mindset and is always exploring innovative ways to optimise resources and achieve desired outcomes.
Jaco is an exceptional leader, known for inspiring and motivating teams to collaborate and achieve their goals. He has extensive experience in management and leadership roles, including discipline and commissioning manager, plant superintendent, principal discipline lead, and project chief investigator. Currently, he is serving as the Process Engineering Manager at Met63 (PTY) Ltd, where he leads a team in delivering customised solutions, providing exceptional service to clients, and helping them achieve their objectives.
Ben Suddick
Ben Suddick is an experienced Engineering Manager at Met63 (PTY) Ltd, with a notable 25-year career in materials handling. He is highly skilled in the design and commissioning of materials handling and flue gas desulphurisation systems on large power stations, making him an invaluable asset to the team. Ben has worked on numerous large-scale projects, providing expertise in the design and optimisation of materials handling systems for the mining and power industries.
With his extensive knowledge and expertise in materials handling, Ben is committed to delivering innovative and customised solutions to clients that exceed their expectations.
Heinrich van Loggerenberg
Heinrich van Loggerenberg is a highly experienced Project Manager and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Met63 (PTY) Ltd, with over 13 years of experience in materials handling projects. He possesses a unique combination of sales, technical, and management skills that allow him to be involved in the entire life cycle of a project or product, from concept to commissioning. Heinrich is committed to driving gains in revenue, market share, and profit performance for Met63 and its clients.
